If you have purchased the password protection add-on, you can protect your content so that it can only be watched by viewers who have been given the password for the broadcast or channel. You are able to distribute this password to your intended audience through whichever secure means you decide.

Configuring the password for all broadcasts on your account:
1. Log on to dashboard.boxcast.com
2. Click on the Settings page, Click on Preferences and click on edit for Privacy and Security.
3. Check the "Enable Password Protection" option.
4. Type in the password you would like and click "Save Changes"
Configuring the password for a channel:
1. Log on to dashboard.boxcast.com
2. Click on the Channels list, and then select the individual channel you would like to configure the password for, or create a new channel.
3. Click on the Edit Channel button.
4. Check the "Enable Password Protection" option.
5. Type in the password you would like and click "Save Changes"
Configuring the password for an upcoming broadcast:
1. Log on to dashboard.boxcast.com
2. While scheduling your broadcast, click on the advanced settings option.
3. Click on the Enable Password Protection option and enter the password you would like to have for that broadcast.
4. Finish scheduling.
Configuring the password for a past broadcast:
1. Log on to dashboard.boxcast.com
2. Find the broadcast you would like to protect on the Current/Upcoming/Past broadcast listing, or schedule a new broadcast.
3. Click on the Edit Broadcast button.
4. Navigate to the "Advanced" settings
5. Check the "Enable Password Protection" option.
6. Type in the password you would like and click "Save Changes"
