The BoxCast Dashboard is where you will manage your BoxCast account and broadcasts. This article will cover how to navigate the dashboard's key features.
The Dashboard button is like your home button. When clicked, you will see your current (live), upcoming, and past broadcasts.
Schedule a Broadcast
The Schedule a Broadcast page is where you will schedule your events that you plan on live streaming. To learn more about scheduling, click here.
The Channels page will show you a list of your channels. Channels are a great way to organize your content. Learn more about channels by clicking here.
The BoxCast Multi-Site Video Player is your solution to enabling remote campuses to watch your live broadcasts. Our advanced DVR player buffers your live broadcast locally and shows advanced statistics to ensure a beautiful picture every time. The Reports page will show you all your viewer analytics. Here you can check on total views for your account, or see a map of where people are watching from. Learn more about reports and analytics by clicking here.
The Settings page has a couple of sub-pages under it like Account, Preferences, Integrations, Billing, Storage, and API Keys.
Account: The Account tab will allow you to change organizational information, and your password.
Preferences: The Preferences tab will allow you to change or enable multiple features like....
Billing: The Billing tab is where you can change your Credit Card on file, and review proposals or invoices. Learn more about billing here.
Storage: The Storage tab will allow you to manage any storage bills for your broadcasts. You can change your Storage Policy from Auto-Delete to Auto-Bill, for broadcasts exceeding your plans free storage duration. Learn more about storage here.
API Keys: Here, you can access your API keys if you plan on using them. Learn more here.
The Sources page will show you which encoders you have linked to BoxCast. If you own a BoxCaster, it will appear here. If using a RTMP encoder, you will want to click on "Add a Source" and select the RTMP encoder you are using.
