What if I see a disruption (shadows, artifact, audio not syncing, etc) in a test or live broadcast?

Disruptions in your live video are usually caused by one of two things.

  1. Your network can’t handle the amount of data being pushed through it. In this case, you can try reducing bitrate (under Advanced Configuration) to see if this improves the stream quality.

  2. You have a bad video cable somewhere in your setup. You can test this by plugging your camera directly into the BoxCaster (if you are running your video through a mixer) or by switching the cable.
